GSM-2110

Remote Alarm Signaling, Control and Data Logging Module for GSM Networks

The GSM-2110 has 16 on-off inputs, 8 (optionally 16) on-off outputs, and (optionally) 4 analog inputs that can be used for remote alarm monitoring and control. Two user-adjustable limit values can be set for each analog input. On-off inputs and analog limit states can be used directly, or qualified by combinational logic functions (AND, OR, EXCLUSIVE OR, or INVERT), and can also be linked to up 20 user-created SMS messages. These messages can be sent immediately, or after userdefined delays, to notify emergency conditions or confirm control actions. Up to 9 phone numbers, fax numbers, or email addresses can be stored in nonvolatile memory and assigned to 4 contact groups. Text messages can be tagged with user-defined input names.

Another key feature of the GSM-2110 is its data logging function, by which on-off input states and analog input values can be recorded in internal memory, either at user determined time intervals or on occurrence of user-defined input conditions. The T recorded data can be read remotely by SMS command or via data communication.

The GSM-2110 has 8 (optionally 16) on-off outputs for remote alarm and control purposes. It can be set up to automatically transmit an "OK" message at user-defined intervals (e.g. 1 week) even if no alarm or fault condition is detected, to indicate that the module is in operational condition. All events such as occurrences of alarm conditions, transmission of SMS messages, acknowledgements, etc. are stored in an internal log file that can be read out by a computer using terminal emulation or WinGSM software.
